This is a daily adaptive swing screen — it scans every stock in NSE/BSE and flags the ones that look ready to move.
Think of it like a talent scout that checks 6 boxes for each stock, gives it a confidence score out of 100, and only shows you the ones that pass.
Empty days (no cards) are normal — the screener only shows high-quality setups, not everything.
✅ BUY
Consider buying this stock. All 6 checks passed. Score ≥64. Stock is pulling back to its rising 21-day average (ideal entry zone) and the overall market is supportive.
🔴 SELL / SHORT
Consider selling short (advanced). Score ≥72. Stock is in a downtrend, below its 200-day average, underperforming the market — only when the broader market is also weak.
⏳ WATCH — Not Ready Yet
Almost there — do not buy yet. Most boxes are ticked but 1-2 are still missing. The "Needs" column tells you exactly what to wait for before entering.
📊 Score (0-100) — Confidence Meter
The more boxes ticked, the higher the score. Think of it as a school grade:
🥇 Grade A (80-100) = Very high confidence — best setups historically
🥈 Grade B (71-79) = Good signal — all gates passed
🥉 Grade C (64-70) = Valid but borderline — use smaller position size
Below 64 = Watch only, not a BUY yet
🟢🟡 Pills (Gates) — The 6 Checklist Boxes
Green = Passed. Amber = Not yet. Hover over any pill for a plain-English explanation.
- RSI — Momentum: is the stock's bounce in the ideal zone?
- MA — Trend: price above 200-day AND pulling back to 21-day?
- MACD — Flip: is momentum turning upward after the dip?
- VOL — Volume: are fewer sellers showing up on the pullback?
- RS — Outperformer: is this stock beating the Nifty/Sensex?
- ADX — Strength: is the stock in a real trend, not choppy?
Extra v4 pills: PIN = reversal candle at EMA21, DRY▼ = sellers drying up, RSI★ = perfect momentum zone, COIL = tight coil before the move.
💰 Stop · Target · R:R
Stop = the price at which you sell to cut your loss (your safety net).
Target = the price at which you take profit (first target is ~2.6x your risk).
R:R = Reward-to-Risk ratio. 2.6 means "for every Rs1 risked, potential gain is Rs2.60". The stop automatically moves to your entry price once you're up 1R (worst case = zero loss).
💬 "Why" text (italic quote under symbol)
Plain-English summary of exactly why this stock triggered — the top 5 reasons it caught the screener's attention.
This is a monthly quality stock portfolio — like a mutual fund you manage yourself, reviewed once a month.
It holds exactly 10 stocks at a time (the "10-name book"), chosen for strong momentum, low volatility, and healthy fundamentals.
If the Nifty market index is in a downtrend, the plan automatically goes to 100% cash to protect your capital.
🏏 Think of it like a cricket team: You have exactly 10 players (stocks) on the field at any time.
Every month-end you check — do any players need to be replaced? New players wait on the reserve bench.
If there's a storm (market crash), the whole team walks off the field (go to cash) until it's safe.
✅ BUY · HOLD
Buy this stock / keep holding it. It's in your active 10-stock portfolio. Review at month-end. The number shows its rank (1 = best quality).
🔵 NEXT IN LINE
Great stock — but the team is full. Passed all quality and momentum checks but the 10 slots are taken. If any top-10 stock drops out, this one steps in automatically.
🔴 SELL IF HELD
Exit this position. It no longer qualifies — fell below its 200-day average, momentum turned negative, or a better stock took its rank. The Reason column explains why.
⏸ WAIT — Market Off
Stay in cash right now. Nifty index is below its 200-day average — market is in a downtrend. These stocks would be your top 10 once the market recovers. Don't buy until the filter turns green.
📚 The "10-name book"
Your portfolio. Exactly 10 stocks held at any time. Chosen by highest "momentum / volatility" score (stocks that go up the most relative to how much they swing). Max 3 stocks from the same sector.
📋 "Outside the book" / Reserve
A stock that passes every quality check (ROE, low debt, uptrend, positive momentum) but the 10 slots are currently taken by better-ranked stocks. Your bench — the moment a top-10 stock fails, the best reserve steps in.
🔢 RAM (Risk-Adjusted Momentum)
The main ranking number. Momentum / volatility. A stock with +20% momentum and 15% volatility scores higher than one with +20% momentum and 35% volatility — because the smoother ride is better. Higher RAM = better candidate.
🛡️ 3-Phase Stop (v3)
Phase 0: Chandelier stop (highest price - 3xATR). Phase 1: Once up 1R (the full risk amount), stop moves to your entry price — worst case is now zero loss. Phase 2: Once up 2R, a tighter trail locks in even more profit.
🟢🟡 Quality Pills
ROE = profitability ≥12%. D/E = debt manageable (≤1.5x equity). EPS = earnings are growing. PE = company is profitable. Hover each pill for details.
📅 When to act
Check once a month at month-end. Sell anything showing 🔴 EXIT. Buy anything showing ✅ BUY/HOLD. If it shows ⏸ WAIT — stay in cash until the Nifty filter recovers.
